These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of resumebloke.com (the "Service"), operated under the name ResumeBloke ("we", "us", "our"), based in Australia.
By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
ResumeBloke is an online resume builder. You can upload or enter your details, choose from our templates, preview your resume, and download it as a PDF (and, for paid templates, an editable Word document). We also offer optional AI-assisted features (resume rewrite, cover letter, and LinkedIn summary).
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Your purchase unlocks the relevant download(s) for the session in which the purchase was made — access to paid features is tied to that session.
Because our products are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except as required by law.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Under the ACL, you may be entitled to a remedy if a product is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or is not fit for its stated purpose. If you believe there is a genuine problem with your purchase, contact us at info@resumebloke.com and we will address it in accordance with the ACL.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
You retain ownership of the resume content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. to generate your documents). We do not claim ownership of your resume. See our for how your data is handled.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you provide.
The Service, including our template designs, layouts, code, branding, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Purchasing a resume gives you the right to use the resume you create for your personal job-seeking purposes. It does not grant you rights to the underlying template designs for redistribution or commercial resale.
Our AI-assisted features generate suggested content based on your input. This content is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any resume, cover letter, or AI-generated content will result in a job, interview, or any specific outcome. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all output before use.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that documents will be compatible with every applicant tracking system (ATS) or employer requirement.
Nothing in this section excludes rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant purchase. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and a guarantee cannot be excluded, our liability is limited (where permitted) to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
